ABSTRACT
Luteal phase support is an integral part of assisted reproduction treatment. Despite 30 years long history of assisted reproduction treatment a consensus on the optimal luteal phase support protocol has not been reached. Practices differ not only between countries and clinics in a single country, but even between clinicians in a single clinic. We review currently available data on luteal phase support and present our opinion regarding an optimal protocol in the light of present evidence.
