OBJECTIVE: Some benign ovarian pathologies may mimick ovarian carcinoma in clinical practice. Differential diagnosis of these masses may limit unnecessary preoperative tests. CONCLUSION: A giant endometrioma together with elevated CA125 values, ascites and thrombocytosis is very difficult to differentiate preoperatively.
